Make it so that the number of Gold bags dropping in the end is bound to your own keep rank at the end, with the losing side getting half of it again rounded upwards. (Destro gets r5 keep at end, order would get 2.5 bags, rounded up to 3 - or in case of Destro having r3 keep, order gets 1.5 bags rounded up to 2)
Suddenly you start people stopping the eternal WC camping after keep siege as they rush to the BOs in a desperate struggle to get supplies going before the zone ticks.
Now that's how you could split the zerg.
And Gold bag numbers gives 1.5x purple bags etc, then maybe add extra 5 blues and extra 5 greens, should be enough to satisfy closer to 40 people.

And before someone asks whether this would mean the "defeated" realm would just let the victors run more supplies, I don't think so. Usually the losers would have nice AAO giving huge incentives to gank supply runners and take BOs with awesome renown gain when facing big AAO.

Another interesting idea i really like! Not that complex but looks fair to me.

You mean rounded up to 2.

It will definitely make ' let them rank up keep, don't fight ' situation
and infight ' I need more contribution ' vs ' those idiots are ruining chance of more bag '
soon there will be no fight after fallen keep

more bags for attacking high rank keep?
it will make funnel fight again
and ' let them take keep so we get the bag '

sry to point out bad predictions w/o solution

It's anecdotal, but a tank in our group earned the gold bag last night in a praag defense. Just proves that it's certainly possible.

What about earned contribution during long zone fight - if I DC or just log off for some time - the contribution will not be lost?

I did notice when I spent 7 hours in KV doing a lot of contribution activities. That when I logged out from my T4 character, then logged in my T1 character for the guild event, then later logged into my T4 character again. That character swap wiped my contribution, when I logged back in had maybe 20 mins not doing much with T4 character and got a very low contribution and roll.

Yesterday I missed 2 full rolls for flips. While I still had contribution (around 5.000 rps), I didn't even see the roll. Could be the disconnection I had (mind you, 20 mins before the flip), but that would be really a bad bug. Maybe a dev could explain the prob

Just remove the contribution for running supplies. All day long you see the same people running supplies. Not taking part in any fight/keep attack. Even when the bo where the supplies are are under attack, all they do is focus the supplies and end up with a bag at the end :-/
