I'd like to address and question some current issues with debolstering, please add what you know to this topic, thank you.

The links/questions in this OP are all the major unanswered questions i have found so far across all/most of the topics made about debolstering since 03/12/16, please provide clear concise answers where you can.

1. #52 The problem described here by Sephirvine92 is baffling to me, anyone got any ideas?

3. #9 & #36 Both of these posts and posts after them suggest that it is the 'Minimum Rank' of an item and not the 'Item Level' of an item that you can have no equipped gear above for a tier debolstering.

Can anyone confirm from direct experience that the following is correct?

Tier 1: No more than 2 mastery points spent, no more than 13 renown points spent,
no equipped gear above minimum rank 13 and NO talismans in gear.

Tier 2/3: No more than 13 mastery points spent, no more than 28 renown points spent,
no equipped gear above minimum rank 28 and YES talismans in gear.

I believe answering this question finally will solve a LARGE amount of confusion across many different debolster issues.

4. #21 The problem described here by Dabbart is an example of a question asked differently by several people, anyone got any ideas?

5. #31 The problem described here by Razielhell is baffling to me, anyone got any ideas?

6. Currently (for the purposes of debolstering) respecialisation of renown points (at least at a renown npc in the capitals) is free but respecialisation of mastery points costs 5g40s at T4, it has been noted by several people that this cost puts them off from debolstering their T4 (or lower tier) chars too frequently (or even at all in some cases) so the question here is: Is this situation a good way to get people to debolster their lower-ranked lesser-played chars to T2/T3 or to T1 OR is it a valid point of contention? i personally have used this situation as a reason to decide to keep some of my chars permanently debolstered and i'm very happy with that state of affairs but what about you? please express only moderate/polite opinions about this issue.

7. The issue of why T2T3 ends at 31 & T4 starts at 32 for scenarios as opposed to T2T3 ending at 30 & T4 starting at 31 for RvR/PQs is confusing to some, i personally assume that this is just a temporary problem the staff have in dealing with the server but i don't know, can anyone shed any light/detail on this?

8. "It has been reported that if you are in a group (party/warband) and you are wearing any piece of gear that does not have the requisite Minimum Rank/Item Level for the PQ that you are playing AND the other members of the group meet the gear requirements and are able to participate fully in the PQ (and are doing so) then the PQ will NOT proceed to any stage beyond the stage you are currently on, a suggested solution to prevent this problem is to remove yourself from any PQ area fights but stay in the PQ area and then remove all of your gear and put on just one piece of gear that meets the gear requirements of the PQ that you are playing OR just temporarily leave the group." Any thoughts or reports on this one? please discuss this issue.

I would like to submit two versions of a proposal to change the 'Core Info' section of the OP of 'Debolster Info - 03/12/16 Change'.

I understand that the updated/corrected details in this material conflict with the material in the 'Public Quests' section of 'Debolster Info - 03/12/16 Change' in its current form but i cannot submit an update for the 'Public Quests' section of 'Debolster Info - 03/12/16 Change' without receiving verified correct information about certain issues and all of that is currently beyond my control.

If you wish to use either version please use a copy that uses the text plus the coding, thank you very much for your consideration.


1: I favour this one, i personally do not feel that it should be altered in any way:

Tier 2 and Tier 3 now function as one tier for the purposes of tier debolstering:

RvR (PvP) - Tier 1: ranks 01-15 | Tier 2/3: ranks 16-30 | Tier 4: ranks 31-40 | - (Realm versus Realm)
Scs (PvP) - Tier 1: ranks 01-15 | Tier 2/3: ranks 16-31 | Tier 4: ranks 32-40 | - (Scenarios)
PQs (PvE) - Tier 1: ranks 01-15 | Tier 2/3: ranks 16-30 | Tier 4: ranks 31-40 | - (Public Quests)

The ranking structure for Scenarios (Scs) is currently different to that of the ranking structures for RvR & PQs.


When logged into server type .ror debolster into /Say chat to see RoR debolster info.

Tier 1: No more than 2 mastery points spent, no more than 13 renown points spent,
no gear equipped above 'minimum rank' 13 and NO talismans in gear.

Tier 2/3: No more than 13 mastery points spent, no more than 28 renown points spent,
no gear equipped above 'minimum rank' 28 and YES talismans in gear.

If you meet the requirements then you will be able to play in your chosen Tier.

Debolster is AUTOMATIC if you meet the requirements, you don't need to 'activate' it.

It is the 'Minimum Rank' of an item and not the 'Item Level' of an item that you can have no gear equipped above.

Now that debolstering is automatic in ORVR is it not possible to queue for lower tiered scenarios.If my debolstered ORVR character is eligible for t1 and i queue will i also queue for t1 scenarios?

Good luck with your Debolster concerns hopefully this thread of yours doesn't get kneecapped or locked because you are difficult with forum admins again. I couldn't imagine opening a thread about a mechanic and not addressing someone who knows very little about it with such base energy.

Seems strange the thread that got locked is identical to this I do hope you aren't trying to evade the admin on here.

The current rank of your char will decide which Tier your char is placed in, see above.

I asked if it was possible to debolster and join scenarios based on a lower tier then what your characters level was.

I feel that God is testing me right now and i also feel that i deserve it... and that i always will.

Now that debolstering is automatic in ORVR is it not possible to queue for lower tiered scenarios.If my debolstered ORVR character is eligible for t1 and i queue will i also queue for t1 scenarios?
