here are my 2 cents.yes but on the side of order, why? because every1 there has 4 sec knock down and u cannot fight back.
WL jumps knocks down and ur finish WH doing the same or stagering u for eternity or SW, BW knocks u down also? I dont remember.seriously my squig or sorc cant compare with those classes if u got suddenly attacked by them.there should be any chance to counter such attacks. Even if i disarm WL the cat is knocking me down and Im finished ( as he hits more than some classes ) just make a balance in skills or longer CD on them or I dont know. If I see a WL jumping on me I just stop fighting the same if I got knock down by SW ( range class wtf ) and Im finished.

The amount of whining in this thread that can, in its entirity, be explained in a l2p issue is staggering. It knocks me down. From range.

OK master king of all brains. teach me how u counter this WH goes from shadow Bam knocks down for 4 sec u get up and boooo you are dead already. OK second SW shoots u first bam knock down for few seconds u get up and your dead. dude teach me how to counter because u must be "amazing" in this. oh no you are order player... enough said

Whatever applies for WH also applies for WE, and possible counterplay have been discussed at length against classes made for surprise attack...

If you die to a SW on your SH, youre either surprised, allready wounded/spent your cds, undergeared, outplayed or a combination of these.

If you die to a SW of equal gear and both start from range, you arent doing it right and should start asking in /advice ;)

WH KD lasts 3 seconds.

There are no 4 second knockdowns on every order class. Indeed there no 4 second knockdowns at all.

I would not change anything about the RDPS classes in the game except ONE THING: Take away the crutch of scenario spawn point and Warcamp guards guards protecting a kiting RDPS.

If a class needs the protection of NPCs to win in RvR, that class or the player is bad. It's a crutch that many RDPS players use in scenarios as described by Eathisword above. If I had a magic wand, I would make SC spawn points all have a translucent shield that does not allow ranged attacks in or out. It will not allow a player in combat to re-enter the warcamp/spawn point, and it would not allow the guards to aggro into the rvr zone.

The argument I get from other players here is "Kiting in circles gets you killed. The guards are a safety net" What is the safety net for MDPS standing inside their spawn and getting ranged down? If all things were truly equal, this crutch would be eliminated and force the RDPS to accept the one Achilles heel of their class - you get caught, you die. It should be part of the overall risk-reward of these classes, but the guards take away any risk when nearby. They simply kite/cooldown until they are back standing by their insta-gib buddy.

The issue with Chosen and Knights is free/minimal effort group utility with very little effort/risk. Kinda like kiting to the spawn guards.. no risk, all reward. But noone seems to have an issue with the guards doing the killing when the player can't.
