I came back for the first time in December. Then took a 2-3 week break recently. Not because I am particularly busy but because I disagree with the direction of the game. I come back only to find more things to discourage me like the level 20 mobs in IC dropping to level 8.

While I support the game and I am really happy to see it back I think they are going in the wrong direction in some areas and it's pushing people away. But that's my opinion - obviously.
You know there're plenty of beautiful zones full of mobs to farm? You know they have recently fixed lots of PQ's in all tiers?.
There's life outside IC, take a flymaster and enjoy.
IMPOSSIBLE! THE MAILBOX MUST BE UNDER WARD 24 HOURS PER DAY, / 7 DAYS PER WEEK!

i too am the one of those 'purists' that would love to play the WAR from live without any changes for the rest of my life...

but i have seen the light in a sense that im grateful for the RoR team that made this awesome game playable again and to help me expand my horizons to new stuff...

that also means that the game has life with ppl working on it which also gives me hope

i hear there are some folks bashing the game on social media and stuff...

those ppl are that are :

caught cheating red heanded...or
even sweeter is when devs ban ppl who are so 'pro' that need to glitch/exploit to make their epeen biiiig AF...but they are more nooby than a tank stacking INT

tldr....

try the game and if u find it fun enjoy! if not there are more other ones that u will probably enjoy more
You have no idea what you're talking about tbh, and are just another example of a person jumping on the bandwagon.

Game's RP scene seems to be getting even stronger as of late! =D

...
Or, you know, you could join a dwarf only guild to spice things up. Bitterstone livin' it up, yo. ;)
Actually that is one of the reasons I play. Playing in a guild, get to know people, make enemies on destro side. ;)

On live I played several times and usually stopped when an event stopped or my warhammer urge satisfied.
That changed when I joined a guild and made some contacts.

RoR in T4 currently is fun. But I don't think it can satisfy you if you are online every day and play for 3 hours. Or the gods help and play 3 hours in a pug warband.

But if you roam with some lads you know, or do some SCs with them it is mighty fun and motivate you a lot. So embrace the social part and join a guild.

And if you are a dwarf join the 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers. ;)

Lets look on RoR project from a "marketing" side.
Consider to whom addressed is RoR :
1) to ppl who are playing ROR because they nostalgic about Warhammer online ?
- nope , cos warpforged ruin dis game, nsotalgia is bad etc, etc.
2) to adult, mature players?
-nope, noone with wife and kid and dog/cat cant play 5 hours for one keep, without divorce.
3) to young random players?
- nope game is unfriendly, and we have thousand other easiest games with better graphic.
4) for so called professional/competitive players /guild ?
- nope , no privileges, they all go away!
5) to be a underestimated artist who done a superb , forgotten by all masterpieces ?
maybe yes, im afraid,
6) for gropus of old friend, veterans of many MMO online, who enjoy own company, and game is on second plan?
maybe yes, but we really want that?

it is inexorable, sooner or later, Dear Devs must choose their targets and results of such choose. Best wishes with that !

When people just post things without a thorough understanding of what happened, I can't resist: it's just too meaty a treat :)

BT are probably the best dudes to run with for fun tbh, always seem to enjoy themselves.

Haha, I actually got a small in-game ban for "baiting with trump comments", so I'd be careful with saying anything in the lines of "making it great again"
Martyr's Square: Sync & Nerfedbuttons - enigma
Martyr's Square: Dureal & Method - Disrespect/It's Orz again
Badlands: Dureal & Alatheus - Exo
Karak-Norn: Sejanus - Blitz/Elementz
