I am curious as to what the channel of /say is for.
We were discussing EA's implications with WaR as a reason for the game not being originally successful. The conversation was about EA butchering WaR, and someone used SWTOR as an example for a game that EA actually butchered, defending the company in regards to Warhammer.
Later on, we were informed that /say was not the appropriate channel for that conversation, but when asked what /say is used for we were not given an answer. We didn't pursue the conversation in /say, but would still like to know what /say is used for.
Could anyone give a clarification? Thank you.
Edit - After checking the rules again, there was no specification for what /say is used for. Only certain channels like /trade, /offtopic, etc.

I believe it is mostly for spamming macros as you run around solo, trying to use Terrible Embrace on entire warbands at once.
