Quick question: Is the old wp setup still viable? For example prayer of absolution + normal healer set (devastator in this case) + willpower / armor talis?

I see too many changes !

No it is not.

If your looking for a set up similar to the old WP, check out the prayer of absolution changes. This has now become the backline WP of which you seak.

All you need to remember is that you need to have this prayer active, otherwise you will not generate any righteous furry like you used to with the books because of;

"The regeneration of a tome or chalice now scales with the Morale scaler. With no morale bonus (less than 18 enemies nearby) these items will not regenerate any mechanic points. With full morale bonus (72 or more enemies nearby), these items will regenerate at their full rate."

What this means is that the regeneration of righteous furry is linked to the prayer not the book. You can still have your book equipped but it wont do anything aside from granting stats and looking interesting.

hope this helps.

The book will give you regen is a max zerg situation. The big change for you is this: swap to devo aura and DA/SR your way out if you get focused.

The tome will provide a bonus in certain situations (above 18 enemies around). The person above you misread the quote, you need to have a book equipped for the fury regen to work when fighting in large scale. Books/Chalices are not useless beyond stats.

Question: In the notes above, i noticed that the Warrior Priest using the Prayer of Righteousness receives a self-only 5 second speed buff whenever the WP procs Prayer of Righteousness.
First Post wrote:Prayer of Righteousness:

+ When you trigger your Prayer of Righteousness, it will increase your movement speed by 20% for 5 seconds. This will only affect you.
And yet, the DoK using Celerity has no such benefit.
First Post wrote:Covenant of Celerity:

Prayer of Righteousness: "Any time one of your groupmates within 100 feet hits an enemy, there is a 20% chance they will deal an additional 150 spirit damage."

Covenant of Celerity: "All groupmates within 100 feet of you gain a 20% chance to Cripple anyone that they damage, dealing 125 spirit damage and reducing the victims run speed by 20% for 9 seconds."

If I were a betting man, and I am, I'd bet you added that self-buff 20% run speed to "equal out" the Prayer/Covenant. IMO, with the AoE snare and "Order only" Ranged KD (One of the best methods of killing a healer BTW) so prevalent on Order groups, I think the addition of the 5 second 20% speed increase is unwarranted.

Other than having that one reservation, I feel the rest of these changes work well. It just seems to a Drstru only player that with the WL speed buff and now the WP personal speed buff, it's becoming harder and harder to keep up with order.

Hey Lucca,

The speed buff was added as you say, because the DoK has a snare proc for 20% helping to keep in close range while the WP has nothing. No gap closer or boost at all. All other dps classes have a mobility increase or 'jump' ability.

If your having trouble keeping up with order I suggest a BO who has a 100% up-time snare. plus, you get all the added benefits of a SnB.

Keep in mind Prayer of Righteousness has a 5 min cooldown now. 20% run speed for 5 seconds every 5 minutes is hardly something to write home about. If anything it needs to be buffed if the Prayer is keeping it's 5 min cd.

Wait, really? Did it use to be on activation but changed? Or did I completely misread/see wrong when it was first implemented?

Don't have a WP so I wasn't aware of how exactly it worked.
