poll concerning recent change in the game?

How would you, devs, see a poll about the recent patches and changes made into the game, to scan the community's opinion about everything?
I believe it would be interesting to see.
I'll make it, not to whine nor to release the frustration of the community, just to see if the majority sees the changes in a positive or negative way concerning careers, not orvr. Only the career change (engi/magus, dok/wp, etc.)

I would interpret it as an attempt to apply pressure by using a method of feedback which does not involve having to give arguments.

I've said a number of times that I want to know why people think what they think. This is why a number of posts which were unsupported complaints were moderated. A poll is actually that concept on steroids, because anyone can drop a vote on a poll without having to elaborate themselves at all, and then the poll gets used as pressure with no way for me to respond to that pressure.

RoR isn't based on democratic principles. If you allow a community to believe that they no longer have to reason, only vote and complain in order to prevent changes, there is no longer any motivation to think and reason, and knee jerking will win every time.

AZ is right. feedback need to have a concise argument either for or against.

If you are against certain changes, you better have solid arguments and post them in the appropriate Balance discussion. This is not a democracy, and changes aren't decided based on votes.
