Can't put the event weapon alt. appearance item on Apostle's Skinflayer of Vehemence for Zealot, please fix it, thank you :)

Maybe its not the same type? Does it give you that message on chat?

Make sure the weapon you are using is bound to you. Other wise you have to use the bugged appearance trick. You can search for the YouTube clip on how to do it.

Zealot dagger flagged as Either Hand...
Appearance dagger is main hand only...

Conclusion: Fix Scenario weapons, not appearance weapons!
