Login complete - CRASH

Hate to make yet another "it won't work" post, but...
I can't log into my account - the game closes as soon as the tiny login progress window shows Login complete. That is when your characters usually appear on your screen. Tried to log in from two different computers. Tried to log into another account, and did. So it seems like the problem affects my account particularly.

Any suggestions?

It was to do with hotspots, I think I found the issue. The hotspots were never being removed properly.

I hate to revive old threads but it seems I got the same issue. After the server restart on the 16.10.15 around 11.30 pm CEST my client started crashing immediately after it reached the second Login Complete. After I found this thread I created a test account and tried to login and it works. So it does sound like the same problem.

It would be nice if there would be an official reply... can I scrap my account now? Or is there some other solution?
