Return of reckoning and DOL

Hi devs,
About ten years ago (wow, i'm so old) i was in a team of enthusiasts who worked on a server emulator for another Mythic project - Dark Age of Camelot (server puraru.ru if anyone remembers it).
it seems like Mythic used the same engine, launcher and server architecture like in DAoC.

it might be interesting for you guys to look into the DOL project. It's an open source project. It has some tools to view ingame files. And also you can learn from this project some useful tips (it was a real pain to rewrite a part of the code, when it get to the point when some part (like the buffs or other effects) became a bottleneck in term of performance).

may be i'm wrong, and it's completely different architecture or you already aware of this project, then - sorry )

Thank you very much for your work!

The game's engine is Gamebryo, which is indeed the same as DAoC's. It's also used for the Fallout games. ^^
