Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions myself, but didn't want to start a new thread just for that.
I'm playing a DoK myself and now am nearing Level 40 and working to build up my RR aswell.
I intend to play my DoK more DPS oriented, as kind of a lifesteal dps.
I'm truely no expert in WAR/ROR, and therefore Need some help from you guys.

1. What skill-build (masteries and renown) would you recommend for my intended kind of playstyle?

2. What armor set would you recommend, and what talismans to put into it?
So far I have full Ruin gear and the T4 epic weapons, for starters. No Talismans, though.

3. Jewelry? What stats should I focus on? I got the 3% parry Skaven ring, what else should I get?

4. Is there a guide for leveling talisman making /and or salvaging? I'm still Kind of trying to figure the entire crafting process out.

Any other advise and tipps are highly appreciated.

2 duelist + 2 mercenary set pieces. Head from chaos rvr influence. Two 20str+20wounds juvelry, one from vendor 37 lvl and one from chaos influence. Cloak from chaos influence. Weapon from scenarios and greenskin influence. RR in order: resolute defence, strength, crit.chance, wounds. Talismans for strength and wounds.
Cultivation and alchemy will help too.

I would say go 4 or 5 piece Mercenary for the +1 mastery point and +5% crit

I don't want to create another post so I'll ask here. I know when I played 6 months ago people always went back and forth on the best melee dok spec. I always preferred to play as a melee healer. Obviously less DPS than the full melee spec, but if you get Sac up your leech and devour do a pretty beefy amount of dps/heals.

I know WP which is my other class is pretty straight forward for the melee heals but I'm kinda not sure about the best melee heal setup for DoK. Obviously the heal debuff and AA haste are amazing for the most effective damage. But getting your empowered transfer I believe and the aoe detaunt tend to make a pretty survivable pretty dang good healing dok as long as you are using your devour essence on your tanks that are in the middle of 5 people and you combine that with your M1 you pretty much make everyone on your team immortal for that short time.

With leveling up Sac your standard aoe life tap heals for a LOT like when you see a cannon left over and you are relocating you can get 3-4k aoe heals to your group as you move to the next group. But is there anything else I am missing? RR is only 41 so i'm leveling that up but I'm torn on reduced crit damage taken and getting as much parry/dodge/disrupt as I can. 4 pc merc and that influence helm seems pretty obvious, jewelry isn't that hard to figure out, talis are straight forward... I duo with a 2h chosen and we have a pretty good synergy but I'm always open for more advice on the melee healing aspect because I hate thinking of DoK as a pure dps or a backline healer. Backline healing it is just way too good to enjoy (almost feels like cheating) and pure dps pisses everyone off so dang bad.

So... tips?
