sh warping

any clue how I can avoid this or help the problem? the thing where you knock them down and they warp around within 30ft of what my computer thinks is thier character's location it's just super awesome to fight against..

i have 100mb down internet so i highly doubt its me lagging... and it doesnt happen with most SH.

I know its hard to play melee class when u aproach target, start attacking, just to realise they are 30 ft away still running on month:). Afaik nothing can be done, its delay of position sent by server to your client. Aza was saying sthing about "server heartbeat".

it makes them invincible to my class, I have even tried predicting which direction the SH will go and it does not help. I also want to say it only happens with certain individuals. KGB was the guild tag, I can check my recording to see who it was in a bit.

Without naming specific players, I can add that I've experienced the exact same warping issue with the same class from the same guild. And we were two people, who both had the same experience.

We didn't get anything on tape, so to speak. And it could of course have been due to server lag. So we didn't pursue it further. But interesting coincidence, nevertheless.

The warping can happen a lot to all players, I myself have people teleporting on my screen just due to some bugs ( such as punts etc ) could be a server side lag issue, or when a zone is heavily populated, just because they warp/port does not always mean that they are cheating, however if you have evidence that proves otherwise, please pm a GM with this information.
