Web Server = Green / Login Server = Red

New player here, enjoying the game thanks! I am having a problem logging in now however. I was playing on a char and I got disconnected a couple of times, I reconnected OK twice or so and after that I couldn't proceed to the character selection screen.

I get a green square for web server and after a while it seems to time out on the login server and I get a red square for login.

I get this message: -
Could not connect to Login server

I have downloaded the launcher again and replaced the files, reloaded and I get the same. My internet is working fine. I did a malware and virus scan of my computer with spybot, housecall and nod32. They didnt report anything. I have tried resetting the internet and restarting my computer.

Please help if you can I'm an altoholic!

Either something between you and the game server is preventing establishing a connection or a security policy on your computer is blocking it.

Check permission on your computer: Antivirus/firewall exceptions etc. Try using a VPN to reroute your pathing.

Thank you for your response, appreciate it! I have a VPN but I didn't think to use it. I am running the game now so far it seems to be running fine thank you.
