I think the last thread was closed from argueing. But from what I gather is a lot of NA players left after extended downtime and warcrafts new expansion pulling them away for the forseeable future. My question is if it's a private server are we allowed to promote it on other gaming sites? I feel a lot of people who would play in a heartbeat still don't know of its existance.
Where would you recommend I look for other players interested/advertise the games existance if I wanted to help.

How many of your NA timezone friends have you invited to the server?

It's hard to invite friends when the game is in alpha that gets constant changes. :XbwdaWAR wrote:How many of your NA timezone friends have you invited to the server?

Expedite the leveling process to t4, not only will it spare new players the suffering of leveling up in a ghost town. It will encourage current players to stick around by way of making alts more accessible. Lack of content in T4 tends to make people hit a brick wall in character progression quite fast compared to live, filling the void means rolling alts or going on hiatus till major updates. The latter being bad for the population.
RvR tends to also not function to well under a low population environment (defenders advantage) so until more patches come out people will continue to be turned off by RvR. I don't know if others share the sentiment, but in NA I basically only que scenarios, only stepping foot into the lakes if there is a keep defense I can take part in.

Perhaps reward boost for low pop NA time ? In Medallions, Emblems, RR, xp, w/e.
If it makes some EU people try leech this makes the overall pop higher so it still serves the purpose.

This was something related to what I had posted about in the suggestion forums. I think this would go a long way towards keeping NA players around. Something needs to be done to get people over that hump and keep them interested throughout T2 and T3 when there arent a whole lot of people around to RvR with, and often not even enough in those tiers to get SC pops for hours at a time.dur3al wrote:Perhaps reward boost for low pop NA time ? As it is now a lot of NA players hitting T2 and T3 have little choice but to spend a bunch of their time PvEing through T2 and T3 because either a) there arent enough people in RvR on their side to even take a keep or b) the other side has nobody doing RvR and so little to no point in doing it themselves. End result of that is, they either wind up getting bored and quitting or just rolling alts to play in T1 since it is a bit more active or they grind their way through to T4 and hit T4 being severely gimped in RR, get rolled by high RR players and give up.
If some adjustments were able to be made which would do something like analyze total number of players online in a tier and once it hits a certain low point apply some changes such as giving some sort of standard reward even if there are no defenders when locking a zone, perhaps also making keeps easier to take in some way (maybe a debuff on guards & lord, or removing lord altogether and replacing with a champ).
Doing so would keep people in RvR a bit more at all hours, which would also encourage even more to join in, and allow people to still progress at a rate somewhat closer to those playing during peak hours rather than forcing them to gimp themselves upon reaching T4.
Aside from something like the above, perhaps a quicker temporary fix for at least one of the problems, being gimped in T4, would be to lower the RR requirements (perhaps even the cost of buying) T4 PvP sets. This would at least allow people to move into T4 without having to have their RR up to par with their XP level in order to wear that gear. They would still have the disavantage of lower RR, but would at least be able to jump into a set of PvP gear sooner rather than being a complete gimp just because they were unable to RvR during low pop times and gain RPs.
It wouldnt solve T2 and T3 being dead, but it would at least create less of a gap between leaving T1 and becoming viable in T4 until the population picks up. Then after some time, once we are able to see that a sufficient number of NA players are on consistently, we could put things back to normal. Personally, I don't really "like" this solution (especially since it would also make it easier for primetime players to skip T2 and T3), and think doing something to improve T2 and T3 themselves is the better route to go, but at least it's something that could be done fairly quickly and easily in the meantime through some simple item edits rather than having to play with rewards and mechanics for just those tiers and low pop times.
Re: What can be DONE to bolster NA numbers?
I think bringing more people is possible, even considering "alpha" stage of the game.
I'll give you an example of what I did to promote server on Russian side.
I wrote few topics on Russian entertaining website pikabu (example - http://pikabu.ru/story/warhammer_online ... t_69956872)
Few topics on my social media pages like Facebook and Google +.
Some NA players could do that as well, yes it takes time to make an interesting topic, but it worth trying. A lot of former players still think game is closed and not aware about existing of the server.
I personally could make promotion via different channel, but mostly ,again. It will attract Russian people more. Also, I once saw phrase from dev team stating that they are not looking for huge inflow of players to the server, since it at far from "beta" state.
