Connect button on launcher

Downloaded the client through the torrent link. Downloaded the launcher and moved to folder. I open the RoR launcher. I type in my forum account then hit the connect button.....nothing happens. Any ideas?

Update: I ran as administrator. Error Message is...

ADDITIONAL UPDATE: I accidentally removed the War.exe file from the folder. I moved it back then I got a new message.....

Try it more often, close it and open it again. The connect button is bugged many times. Also maybe you have an old version of the launcher. Soon there will come a new one, that is also able to download patches.

I managed to get through the launcher and the game opens to a blank character screen and no option to create one. Another error message pops up.

Did that and the "Connect" button does nothing again

This is still in your Vuze folder. Is the torrent running? That will cause it to fail. Either stop the torrent, or move the entire WAR folder somewhere else so it's no longer being shared.

I am having the same problem. downloaded the launcher (which I already had). nothing has changed with my game files for a long time. had no problems logging in last night. though it seems right now (9:13 PM Eastern) that the forms and main site are also up and down (took 3 tries to get a login on the forum to stick without going to an SSL error page).

Best you can do is to keep trying, eventually you will be able to log.

Dunno i have had same issue downloaded and installed game get it to launch have deleted torrent completly so non existent and have same issue that many have on the Black box.

To bypass the connection button issue I just open folder and use launcher from there rather then desktop.
But cant get past the black box on character creation( no option)
