for some reason when I put username and password and click connect nothing happens before I was able to login and play now I cant

Just to piggyback on this, I am also getting this error, when I have had absolutely no problems connecting prior to this. I have read through the solutions, and have tried restarting the launcher about 20 times. Also getting handshake errors on loading the website too, which is a first time thing for me too. Help needed!

It might be due to the DDoS attack currently happening (i think so anyway?). I am also having this problem.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that, but that would certainly explain a lot. Why on earth would someone be doing that?

I heard some rumors about some people getting banned and doing this in retaliation, real lame stuff.

Hi there. Yep seems the launcher encounter some small issues. Restart your launcher in admin mode and start. if it doesn't work, then restart...

Eff me, people are so petty. Running it in Admin Mode seemed to do the trick, though it did take a few tries. But cheers for the help!

I had this problem too, but i restarted the launcher many times (like between 10-15 times) and now it works !
