Launcher and game won't start

Hi all
First of all, sorry for my english.
During this quite long downtime, I decided to change my Gpu (now i have a gtx 1070) and to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10. I have then launched the game from the launcher and while it was loading, a blue screen of death appeared.
After rebooting I tried to launch the game again, but this time the launcher didn't even start. I decided to delete the game and download it again, I unchecked the "read only" from the folder, but once again the launcher didn't start. I also tried to delete the settings from nvidia inspector and from reshade (which worked well on windows 7), to download only the launcher again and I also tried to set compatibility to windows 7 but once again anything worked

Game works fine on my Windows 10 upgrade, including with enhanced visual mods. My suggestion is to ensure you have all the latest windows updates and make sure DirectX is installed.


Stupid question if you've already done this, but I must ask. Did you do a uninstall of your previous GPU drivers and install the latest ones for the 1070?

Yes, I updated the directx and I've installed the driver after formatting for windows 10 so it's all "fresh and new"

So, after some trial and error I've found that for unknown reason after the blue screen, i have to change the name of the directory of warhammer O_O
I've done that and the launcher works fine and it starts the game. The problem is that while loading the pc crashes with the infamous blue screen, and once again, i have to change the directory name only to have another blue screen. At this point I think is a problem with the drivers or the Gpu itself

Ok, finally everything works.
Basically, i changed a setting with nvidia inspector that always made my pc crash. Never happened before with any game, so it was quite a shock
Anyway, thanks for the help ^_^
