Try getting directX11 too or on a long shot, try opening the game thru' Steam

deleted old launcher and unpacked that to my warhammer folder with all included files, same outcome

added rorlauncher to steam and same outcome also

currently dxdiag.exe says i have directx version 12 installed

You need content from 9 and 11
