Huge FPS drops

Hello

Anyone is experriencing big FPS drops in RvR? It becama really frustrating any 20v20 action and I'm stuck with 5 FPS on a Laptop that handles Total War Warhammer and Witcher 3 on high/medium details...

My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad Y700 with SSD 500g, I am suprised to experience this kind of problem with such an old game like warhammer

when there is some massive battle with crazy aoe spam it turns to slideshow for me. though it happened even on my ancient piece of crap in the ages of live WAR. no idea if the game sometimes isnt able to handle so much effects.

try to disable effects (that display on all/wb/grp/self kind of thing) to see if it somehow help you. for me it has minimum impact though it doesnt occur everytime so no idea...

Dont think there is anything wrong with your laptop. Could be a server problem? A few friends of mine got some pretty crazy PC's and they also have super lag sometimes. (Low FPS)

I tend to lag in close combat fights ( For example when i get pressured, or when i play a Melee class, tank W/E.) And my PC should be able to run this game with no problems at all. In the start i didnt have this problem, but now i am forced to play in FF.

Some mods are known to cripple FPS, also as it stands, many packets between server/client haven't been defined. They could also be a cause for FPS drops due to the client unable to handle them effectively.

Are there any known addons that do that? I would disable them if I knew which ones are causing that - I'm using VinyUI as on my previous UI AH didn't seem to work properly

when there are 2 warbands or sometimes even more spamming abilities etc one reason. keep in mind that game engine that used for this game isn't the best.

another reason could be that you're using high quality graphics and textures an far sight on video settings... possible solution is to lower them down.

some addons as GM said can cripple your FPS... i am not sure if i could list any since i am not using many addons except enemy and some very basic addons that are working fine for me.

when playing CLOSE that damn any web browser running in the background. specially if you 're running sites that using video streaming or stuff like that it could be a possible reason. (some web pages for some reason using too many resources for the browser and the whole system comes laggy and not only the game while video players are using resources for graphics too... they might cause problem too)

i believe the biggest reason is that the server is not optimized - since its in the middle of being build
