Cannot minimize game without hang

I use to be able to minimize my game and then maximize it again and it would work fine. Now when I minimize the game it gets stuck and I cannot do such things as alt tab back to the game. I have to kill the game and restart it. I'm running an Nvidia 980 at 1080p. Also when I reload UI I sometimes get an app failure and the client closes. Anyone else have a similar issue?

It's a long standing issue with DirectX 9, most games have a borderless windowed mode that is way better with performance. So do we. Use it.

But ... But ... Muh 1 MS Input has now increased to 5 MS .
Edit: i have the same Problem on my 970. and my Screenshot key isn't working.
