especially GMs will haveto pay attention on walking through any obstacles like there is nothing before him. make that thing work, and them do another fix.

That's a more general and complex issue afaik, so it's not really reasonable to wait till that's fixed before anything else is done.

There is an add-on called pet-assist, its basically forces your pet to attack whatever you are attack while keeping it in passive mode. Doesn't fix all the issues with pets but some of them get mitigated by this.

Basically dismiss pet before doing any kind of travel and re-summon when going into combat helps with the random disappearances also.

Well, of course manual summon is something I tried, but just think about this. You are roaming alone and u get jumped, especially if you are guardian specced, by a WE or somebody else: having no lion is a tremendous liability. Indeed loyal pet mitigates some control issues, but you need to use manual commands to perform at maximum potential. Anyway, the worst part is the lion missing randomly, fix that and the rest can come later :)

Welp its true, but I'd still prefer a 2 sec cast and then having pet over getting jumped and realizing my pet is somewhere on vacation in Africa and needs 15 secs to book a flight back.

Ah I am sorry, seems like I overreacted. If pet cost 0 mana I would gladly sacrefice a gcd :)

I suggest to deprive a white lion of his pet - it's remains hang at his shoulders in the form of a lion's pelt. It is revenge for the killed shaman goblins.
