The server needs a lot of help but we can not help, we can not invest, hand can do nothing, that's frustrating!

True. No need for X new threads if server is up.

These days its pretty easy -99% when u cannot log its cuz server crashed again and 1% its your connection or whatever else problem. No need for new topics

The simple fact is: No one reads, and they refuse to when told to over, and over, and over.
Nothing more unfunny then when someone says why they server is down, and almost 3 posts later someone is asking why they can't get into the game......

When the server is down people get bored so they start spamming those topics which covers the actually useful information posted by staff.
Pretty much always afk or tabbed out.

I agree to keep the server status topic to the Admins, only problem is a lot of noobs will start many threads about it instead of reading the big SERVER status on the front page. So instead of just 1 thread of people spamming, you guys have to LOCK alllllll the new threads people make asking lol... lose lose situation

Already 5 threads Locked bc people dont wait and read lol.

I'm sure they will simnply add Forum Moderators as needed. right now I think they do a good job getting the info over quickly.

If you are ever really hurting to know whats going on, you can always jump into the IRC chat where sometimes we have a heads up on the issue.

though if you do that, I will probably tell you the server will be back up by 6:00 PM EST ;p

As of my posting this they are 4 posts on the front page with titles along the lines of "game won't launch", people need a place to shitpost within a minute of the server going down or we just get spammed with these threads.

No matter how good a job the staff does handling the official thread it is totally unrealistic to except them to update within a minute or two every time.

I'd rather have 1 thread filled with shitposting than a bunch of new threads popping up every time server goes down.

The old server status thread where everyone was able to post didn't prevent those topics from popping up either.

Simple fact is, there's no need for a topic where members can post in, with regards to the server status.

It's either offline or online, with possible information of when it's gonna be back on when offline. If the community "needs" a topic to ask whether it's online or not, it defeats the whole purpose of a topic in relation to the server status.

Either way, it's babysitting for moderators. Only, this way, we don't have to moderate a forum topic that will be 99^ full of pointless information and more often than not, some flaming/insulting which then leads to countless reports and PMs from people demanding us to punish them for their insults.
