Could you possibly implement some kind of donation button or something, or a budget for server improvement that everyone could throw a penny into? Also I realise the problems don't only come up to DDOSING and there are other factors that influence the current situation but that's precisely why I would like to fund you up boys.
If there is such system already someone please direct me to it, so I can throw some money at this game with hope that it will improve further more (it already has, but we are still not there guys)
