360 degree recording

Hi,
I just found amazing video of "Icelandian game", which is recorded as 360 degree view, bacically while watching video you can pan camera in any axis.

Was trying to google but didnt get any result,
Is there any software to record such videos? Or the game engine must have implemented such feature? Or it depends on GFX software?

Any idea?

I`d like to make few 360 degree shots for RoR for advertising puproses.

And i think new Nvidia cards Gtx 1080 supports Ansel which allows you to take 360 pictures in-games.I dont know about recording in 360 though.
Check SFM...for recording in 360 degree.

Thanks for tips, I gonna try out SFM. Also Ansel looks promising, its not released yet and suppose to be compatible backward, so my gtx 970 will handle it... Just need to wait:)

Yes my bad.600 series and up will support Ansel
