Positionals after knockdowns

So, this may be a problem that only I experience. I noticed that 90% of the time that I pistol whip someone down their character "automatically" faces me the entire time. This makes it quite difficult to land positionals since they're constantly facing me, even when knocked down. Is this normal :>?

Dont think this is visual as I think I've been parried after I've k/d'd with WH.

It was in one of the recent patch notes (19th May) that this was fixed, but I have my doubts. Need to get a friend to test this with at some point in the next few days.

You can turn yourself around when knocked down, and enables you to parry/block and avoid positionals in whatever direction the person is laying down. Some players take advantage of this unintended feature and quickly turn around to their CCer to prevent torments and other skills with parry/blocks

Looking for hard evidence that this is occurring after the May 19th patch. Ideally, screenshots showing a knockdown ability used, and then a parry/block occurring within the following 3 seconds/duration of the knockdown.

A knocked down player may still be able to visually change their facing, since the client controls movement, but should no longer be able to block/parry.

I didn't think this was intended. But yeah, there have been parries/blocks going off all the time when I attack knocked down players.

Sorry, I need to make a correction. From the patch notes:
Server will now use player's last facing direction before knockdown/stagger for all positional attacks and will ignore any heading updates until kd/stagger ends.
So parries/blocks can still be made from where the player's front "was" when they were knocked down, but their flanks and rear should be open.

I have not seen any parry/dodged attacks when knockdown; however, I'm not able to land positionals (BAL). Example, I pistol whipped Zabis down, and when I try to use BaL it says I must be facing his back to perform the action, so I try moving/circling but his character keeps facing me the entire time (like a jerky movement), so I cannot land any positionals.

I have not seen any of my attacks blocked/parried after 5/19, but I still cannot land positionals. Now, this does not happen with every single player, it's just a few handful that are able to rotate their angle when knocked down and makes it impossible to land positionals.
