Re: T4 Accessory Tome Unlock Guide

go in library on destro, hang a left, go up the stairs, talk to the orc on ur right. That's the quest for the 2nd item. Changelogs say the quest was fixed - but nothing ever said this was the quest so no worries on not knowing, I bugged like 5 gm's before someone told me there was a quest haha. But yeah it works and is the only set a melee should get so far on WAR not including the accessory sets that are currently like 1 in several million keep takes if you include keep siege/failure/purple bag rates.

Kill the gnoblars here, until you get a Gnoblar's Shiny Bits.
It's so hard to get there, from destruction pov, the place is surrounded by 3 order warcamp, I can't find the path, plus you need to cross some bridges, and some are hard to find because of the different stairs in the mountains...

e.g. iirc the oathstone set was nerfed to a 480(?) armor debuff with a 2-3% proc chance, so that it only procced once every 10 minutes...
Same for strife and torment: the 10% proc on getting hit to get healed by 1xx was nerfed to 2-3% and a lower heal value (as far as i remember).
Both sets were absolutely useless after the nerf; what we have now is useful in the current T4 meta with the T4 starter equip, without restoring the OP factor of the old sets.
Maybe some sets can be tuned a bit (e.g. 3% parry strikethrough on torment+strife), but that should be argued in a proper manner.

Edit:
as far as i can tell only the set bonuses have been changed, the stats on the items have not been touched. If an item has 2% parry/disrupt/block/dodge it has normally very low stat values, because mythic valued these percent chances very high.
Iirc you need 47 weaponskill for 1% parry on level 40; same for BS/dodge and WP/disrupt. This gives an idea what it takes to buff these stats further, after every other percent buff has been taken. You don't get the "offensive/main effect" from those percent buffs though.
the armor debuff on the oathstones was 444 after nerf.
the wind set had lvl*5 all resist debuff proc (200@lvl40) on 2 pcs and iirc morale drain from the attacker on being hit proc on 3pcs
the current form of the wind set is pretty far from "useful in the current T4 meta"
The intention was obviously to bring all sets more in line with each other (balancing wise) without creating a "must have" set or sets that are OP on certain classes/builds.
It was also already stated by the devs somewhere why the resist proc was removed.
And the winds impervious set is useful for anyone who wants to stack defenses (some people seem to overlook the increased resistance on the jewelry), in my oppinion; it's fine if yours is different.

I don't necessarily mind "balance adjustments", I just find the new set bonuses rather boring. I do understand that coding the procs takes much more time but on the other hand all the sets "feel" the same

oathstone set is freaking awesome on DoK haha, i love it. Wish 2h got 20% and dual wield got 15% - not sure if they can code that though

Yeah, the new bonuses are for the most part lacklustre, especially the +25 wounds on Foserain/Cytheril.

I've tried this for about 200 Gnoblars in this spot and no joy on Destro side - any tips?

Here you have to kill Gutbash Tooth Gnoblars for Gnoblar's Tooth
and Gutbash Trappers for Trapper's Trap Parts.

Once you have all four pieces, right click one of them in your inventory to get the unlock.

Posting this for later. This is what I found online.

Thanks - for those Destro after the Great Oathstones - BEFORE setting out to euthanize Gnoblars the world over - pay a visit to the Lyceum in IC and talk to the LGBT Black Orc on the steps to the left as you walk in and pick up the quest "Gnoblar Hunt" like I didn't do
