for a pug range dps is much safer so thats the reason you see an overwhelming majority of rdps in scenarios if you go in random.

About the Rdps part it's true that Destro usually has a very strong melee train. When they have a premade that plays a melee train it becomes very hard to deal with while having to much rdps in your team.

About the premade group in JST timezone, I'm interrested to do some tryouts with you. We're a small French guild but I had to move on to Japan for a year or so. While I still can have some play time with my guildies, I find myself doing alot of pug Scenario and eventually answer to some premade group creation queries because of the time difference.

My main is a Lv40/RR40 KotBS, SnB: Seedzz. Don't hesitate to whisp me ingame or PM on the forum if you feel like trying out some games !

My experience with sc is that everyone will have at least 3 to 5 kotbs and at least 1 ib all spamming aoe snare.... so much fun.

Nothing can match the glorious feathers of the KOTBS, every other tank classes should feel miserable and unimportant

Everyone assumes you're being non-serious due to the phrasing in the first part of your post. Make a bad post, expect bad responses.

When it comes to why order have so much Rdps i find the ansver to be fairly simple.

there is 3 Rdps on each side, not counting healers that play as dps

Lets look at them

Magus vs engi: Engi is often considered to be better than magus. if its true or not is not really important here. what is important is that is what is often told.

Bw vs Sorc: Same here Bw is often considered to be the better of these 2. And often you hear Bw's being called OP. same here again if its true or not is not really important.

So 2 of the 3 Rdps on order side is atleast considered to be better than the destro counterpart.
Then is it so strange that lots of people roll these?
Some would not even consider playing order and some would not play destro. No matter how the class balance is. they have a faction they like and stick to that.

But for many the faction s not that important, they want to play a class that is good, that is considered to be better, or even OP. and if they also like ranged classes they will most likley roll order to get to those 2 classes.

In the end this will mean that more players that want to play ranged and is lookign for a class that is considered to be one of the best will roll order and then it will lead to rdps being over represented on that side
