Do I have to download a patch manually?

Just found out this existed this evening and downloaded the game. Playing for a few mins and it said patch inc. Well I log off and wait a bit to restart. No sign of a patch downloading and the server will not connect. Am I missing something?

No, all patches at this time are serverside only. We lack the ability to modify the client, for now.

In the near future, we will make everyone download a new launcher, with patching capability. Then we will break many things, and after that, ruin the game forever.

same thing happened to me Jghouse83, after shutting down and relaunching many times it eventually shook hands with the server
