Actually, you reminded me the way choppas get pounce is simply believing they have pounce and so they will.Luth wrote:Red iz fasta!
Group heals have 100ft range, so unless you only focus on ST spells and never use your group heal, you will be closer than 150ft from your group. Also, Nydig didn't say healers. He said squishy ranged. Most rDPS skills are around the 65-100ft range with a few exceptions. SW ranged KD has a 98ft range (with tactic). BW KD is 100ft.Annaise16 wrote:
If healers are letting themselves get knocked down by a rdps, they are failing at situational awareness and deserve to be killed. Heals have a 150 ft range for a reason. Squishy healers should be using it.
I'll give you the morale punt, but WLs also have to burn their charge and feline grace in order to pull people, because they have to provide CC immunity and speed for the pet as well as for themselves, something marauders don't have to do to successfully execute a TE. This leaves the WL even more vulnerable to CC than its counterpart because defensive CDs are already used in order to do basic CC. Therefore, until the pet is changed to not require defensive cds on the part of the WL player, additional CC immunity is completely fair. I'd give you pounce not working midair if fetch applied a temporary speed burst automatically to the pet as well as temporary CC immunity. Ofc it would still be able to be killed, but it wouldn't require using all non-pounce mobility increasing CDs to work effectively.Penril wrote:Group heals have 100ft range, so unless you only focus on ST spells and never use your group heal, you will be closer than 150ft from your group. Then again, assuming the BW/SW is also 90-100ft away from the melee, the overall distance between destro and order backline should be around 160-190ft (assuming they play carefully and their rDPS are attacking the enemy mDPS; if they focus healers or enemy rDPS, then they will be in range of Eye Shot). Still, one miscalculation and you immediately have a SW KD + WL Pounce on a ranged squishy, putting Destro immediately on the defense. On the other hand, the only thing Order has to fear (if getting too close to the melee blob) is being pulled by a Mara. But the range is 65ft.
This is fine i guess, since mobility is what defines WL. But really, they should not be allowed to pounce mid air. In the very least, they should not be able to do it if the punt comes from a Morale.
I think the speed burst is fine. But the CC immunity... how would you interrupt a Fetch then? When a Marauder is trying to pull you, he can be easily interrupted in different ways. Make the pet immune to CC and you efffectively make Fetch undefendable. Killing it is not really an option because if you coordinate with your healers, they can easily keep the pet up for at least a few seconds while it pulls someone (assuming it gets a speed burst + CC immunity).Liandel wrote:

Morales are another thing entirely, and should always work because they are a min cd.

I'm all for fixing the WL pet though, and making the WL CC more reliable.
I am glad i am not the only want who was going to call him pencil all the time now.Gachimuchi wrote:Healing the pet? Pencil have you been reading footpatrol's posts latley?
