I didn't buy anything from AH or respec or anything else during that time except purchasing 3-4 pieces of end level ORvR greens from vendors. I do think the price is a bit steep.

However, hearing how others are making 100g in 60-90 minutes is making me question my income methods or the validity of their statements. If someone would be willing to give some pointers or place to go to someone that would appear to be grinding wrong I would really appreciate it :). Surely if you can make 100g in an hour then the price of the mount is reasonable.
a) Sell the green items (especially the 35++) for 1g at trade channel or auction house. Many people want to lvl salvaging or get essences so this automatically doubles your item income. Needless to say that dyes go for 2g the rare ones and 4g the very rare ones.
b) Grind the PQ with a scavenger and make talismans which is also a solid way of making a couple of gold (from 4g to 20g per tali)
c) Farm solo and you get about 1silver /mob so in 100 mobs

Little tip, if u put a key on loot nearest you can easily kill many mobs and loot them fast. Saves you some time in the long term :)

Oh I don't presume entitlement for anyone. It certainly easily attainable if the person truly wants its. I by no means think it should be 15g or 25g or something like that, just that I did think it was a high price. I was trying to say, the price to me seems high, it seems high because I earned money through x,y, and z, I'm hearing now that there is a better way than what I did. If that other way is there would someone please be willing to show it to me. If it is there then the price certainly seems reasonable. The reason it seemed unreasonable before would have been due to my flawed method of obtaining gold.

I guess the way I worded what I wrote didn't properly convey what I was meaning. Hopefully that clears it up.

d) In the area you are farming mobs, there is without a doubt a warcamp also connected to it, take all quest's you can, not all quests give only XP some of them gives coins and other stuff that can be sold for more profit.

Do the travel quests, if you do the travel quests for each t 4 zone at 1 gold 59 silver a quest, and run the route, picking them up and turning in as you go, that is easily , 6 gold a zone x 9 zones, comes out to 54g over half way there.

No wonder people don't have money if they don't enjoy the game and just jump to rats and powerlvl to T4. Let's set the prices to 200g, there are people who earned their gold fair and square and are not demanding ridiculous discounts

By the time I hit 32lvl (when it was the cap)I've earned 150g just by playing orvr, handing kill quests and a little bit of pve, so 100g is not a big deal

I feel thats increasing prices on basic equipment of pvp player (reduced drop rates of purple frags, 60% speed horse - actually required for rvr, otherwise cant keep up with WBs, opponents, and most important - siege weapons, really, basic siege equipement - ram cost 15g, which is mandatory for any chance to try dmg door after last changes) makes a gap between casual players, that log for hour or to just to being ganked or wait in respawn point in scenario, and more "pro" players, that can spend hours on PVE (frags, mats, culti, grinding exp - name it) and using earned gear/gold/medals (which can be spend for healing pots and make gap even bigger). Do devs really want 2 categories of players? If yes, fine, I have time, i got dedication, i can spend hours to grind my talis, afk in IC to make pots and farm solo scenarios with unfair paring (solo players play against premades in same bracket). But what about casuals? I mean 6 years ago ppl could spend hours to play, now they have lives, families, jobs, etc. Newcomers? Do you see any?
Also, with in mind last changes with RvR system, i`d like to ask about "bigger picture", do devs have got any? Are the changes a wakeup-morning ideas? Is there any plan?

Pls, no hard feelings, like love the work you do, i appreciate it, if someone feel offended, wasnt my intention.

I really do not know why this game has so many threads about item prices.
It's an MMO where the more time one invests, the better items one will get.
its fairly easy to get 100 gold: learn a crafting skill and sell your stuff; questing; pvp; mob grind etc...
And again I will refer to other MMOs where mounts cost a shitload more gold and take much longer to obtain.
One wants shinies - one has to play the game.

A player who can only invest few hours in a week has no chance to get as good as someone who plays an hour every day.
Time spent will be rewarded.
Feel free to quote me on that.
(and i still think that even someone who only plays once a week can get enough gold to buy a 60% mount, it might take him longer but that is not a problem. That's the very nature of MMOs)

Son - RR 8x AM

1. We absolutely do want there to be a gap between players who can put in X hours and 0.5X hours. That's how MMOs work.
2. Siege prices were lowered in a hotfix last night. They went from 2g/7g/15g -> 1g/3g/5g for T2/T3/T4 respectively.
3. The prices of the mounts was lowered as Torque said. I don't care if you used to be able to spend 20g on a mount that didn't work. On live, the mounts that did work were 150g.
4. Never any hard feelings.
