The debolster method is just one minor step in one direction that however is still far from being any good/serving the community at all.

If they were to be aware of the problem why are they allowing it to happen? Why are they allowing players like me get tired of the development of Return of Reckoning when they "know it"? Because they allow me, won't hinder me and are always open for criticism of the development (until it becomes absurd) and "fixing it one day" is not just enough to stop the current draught.
Ah, yes, let's hold off another 3 months with releasing T4 while everything is broken in T2 and T3 because of an unplanned T4 code push that had to be reverted! The draught would surely stop, as literally no one would be playing in T2 and T3 anymore by the time T4 would be in an optimal state. We do not have the luxury of time when the lower tiers remain broken until T4 is fully released.

As a developer you always have the options to choose from before releasing new content and as a user of this content, I am not finding the new content any rewarding. I'd like to see more implementations and tweaks that helps and provides a aidance towards the draught of T1, T2 and future T3 before actual T4 release.
RyanMakara wrote:Your doom-saying of a population draught in the lower tiers is based on nothing but speculation over a week of broken keeps, which will be fixed with the T4 patch. Players will be able to enjoy T2 and T3 again without issue.
You turn my argument into something that is inevitable, dooming and catastrophic. I've never meant such and I feel that I did express myself enough that the draught is going to happen. How exactly severe this draught will turn out to be is entirely up to you and others to picture.

Of course it is based on speculation. What else? Raw database statistics!? Do we normal users have access to such statistics openly and freely like you developers have? Is the statistics that transparent so that everyone can see the actual numbers and infographics of the current phase of the game?

When your new content inadvertently breaks the game and requires to be implemented as soon as possible to regain population, you will implement it as soon as possible. We had little to no other choice than to finish up the start of T4.

It doesn't take a genius mind to notice the draught of the past week ever since we wrongly pushed a part of the T4 code. However, to assume this draught will continue after T2 and T3 will be fixed, simply because T4 will be the end-game, is silly. As stated before there are various counter-measures and developments in place to ensure the lower tiers stay populated. You make it seem as if we aren't expecting a population drop in the lower tiers, while that is actually one of the first issues we'd face. I say, trust us with what's been made possible here, to differ from the mishaps on live.

Also please give us a few examples of other measures aside from debolster, which you only consider a minor step in the right direction, that could increase the population in the lower tiers. We'd love to hear some of THAT.

Perhaps I am misinterpreting this, but wouldn't this condition provide less incentive to defend and more incentive to cross-realm and join the zerg?

Off topic: You used to be able to go to t4 at 31.
There were too many tiers for the population on live. T2 and T3 should have been merged to a single middle tier for ranks 16-31.

Well both, It's also an incentive to not loose.
But we all know it's much easier to give up then fight for it. So yeah this is whats goin to happen.
(I'm all for penalizing loosers for not showing up tho)
