Hi,

first of all, i never played Warhammer. Any advise would be appreciated! Second of all, i hope that its true that warhammer is a great PvP game!

Good News Everyone!

Plenty of Germans in this game, and a few german speaking guilds, but your english seems quite good.

I suggest you goof around with a few classes. Stick to PvP battles though. It is easy to get distracted questing, but the game is based on PvP, and especially for learning purposes, you should get in there! You can play BOTH realms on Return of Reckoning(RoR), so you are not limited to just order(Winners) or destruction(Smellies).

You can queue for Scenario's(SCs) from anywhere in the world, top right corner next to your mini map is the toggle for it. Or you can walk/run to the Open Realm Vs Realm Lakes(ORvR). These are visible as the area's in Red on your main map(press M).

Utilize the /advice chat channel for any questions you might have. The community is very happy to help!

keep posting on the forum as well, this is a great place to pick up hints and tips about each class or just in general.

Thanks a lot. I love PvP so i choose to play this game. But are you saying that i can do pvp from the very beginning? Or do i have to quest up to a certain level?

you can PvP from rank 1 renown rank 0 all to way to rank 35 renown rank 40(currently cap).

You can get XP to increase your rank from anything, be it killing mobs, players, taking keeps or Battlefiend Objectives(BOs) or locking a zone(when your side controls every objective).

Renown is ONLY gained via PvP however.

You can get SC emblems from SCs(6 per 500 pt win, and less depending on score for a loss). You get Medallions from kill quests(kill 50 green/dwarf, 50 emp/chaos, 50 elf/elf gives 5 medallions and 60k xp), ORvR kills, keep takes, and zone locks. Each is used for a different equipment, Emblems are used for weapons and a gear set, and medallions are used for a gear set.

There are also renown merchants that sell "basic" RR gear.

You also get drops from killing players. Drops increased in ORvR around battlefield objectives.
