medallions was literally something a guildie mentioned to me. any incentive (Jaycub's ideas are cool) would serve well, to be honest. however I bet 'someone' would still have a problem, no matter what that incentive were to be =D

Giving those that excell or wish to be super highly comp apearance tokens would be awesome! I would be in large favor of such a change. Or even tokens for the special Dye Vendor, or similar would be cool. I just don't think that giving more medallions/medals would be fair or balanced in any way.

increase renown/gear drops might be considered unbalanced, which is why drops were lowered in SCs to begin with. But at least this is simply an increase on something that is already prevalent in SCs, and not simply giving people a way to grind medallions outside of ORvR, which is the sole domain of said drops(outside of kill quests).

that sounds cool too. To be honest anything that would both: a) benefit the parties partaking in CW/6v6 scenarios in general; b) serve as an incentive for other people to get involved - can only be good for the game. that's just my view though.

Well, i can also get full duelist by afking in scs, no idea how long it would take, but pretty sure not that long.

Since that happens, i propose that emblems are awarded also in Orvr, so real people who made real efforts in making 6 man groups to kill people who are killing rat champs can also get their well deserved duelist gear.

Would be nice to know if the devs are actually interested in encouraging grp play instead of hurrdurr pug action.
Enforcing grp play might come with some pug advantages too. One or two, who have played in a premade the other day, might start to be social, might start to understand what guardrange or hot or disengage means etc..

Premade members are the better pugs.
Another thing:

I once read that balancing the classes and their skills was a thing. But if zergers and pugs are the target grp then why bother? The bigger side will win. Whether a mara debuffs 50% or 75% heal will not matter in a zerg.

If that is what the devs want, if they want premades to fade away in silence because they are bored of 40min queueing times or farming pugs and as a result disband/leave, then they might have their pug game in the near future.

Nobody might be left to oppose hilarious balance ideas like the ones of some balance mods (not chizune) that will be implemented and 100% reverted some weeks later driving more players away from the game than premadestomps ever could.

Mentioning the worst case scenario here and therefore I am exaggerating a bit but statement on that by some dev would be nice.

You're absolutely right.
Getting the best gear while beeing afk is great.
Putting words into people's mouths is a great way to argument.
Zerging keeps while beeing in a pug warband and spamming fiery blast on the door is the pinnacle of skill and effort.

what about ppl playing maguses and engies? They are not wanted for 6v6 and they wont be taken for any serious competative game on small scale. So they doesnt matter? The game should not be fully 6v6 centric, so stop push for that

Someone who sucks that much on his bw should keep his mouth shut and let the decent players talk. ;)

If premade players wouldnt have opposed all the **** balance-suggestions coming from pugs then this game would ve been dead by now.
