How do people feel about the Uniform Knockdown duration? I felt that it was a poor decision on Mythic's part to change all Knock downs and staggers to 3s; Something RoR has already addressed in part with Engi Stagger. (For some reason Declare Anathema also got reduced down to 3 seconds)
The BG obviously is the only class to slip through the cracks due to it requiring resource to use, but MDPS, WE/WH especially have a 3 second KD. While IBs lost use of their unique 4s KD. Was this a mistake? Another victim of Carrie-balance? Should we keep CC uniform duration or go back to unique duration, where MDPS generally have a 2s KD, while tanks have a 3s (or greater)
I would like your opinion on the matter.

I feel that staggers are fine, kotbs and chosen does not need buffs
Tbt I think it's better this way with the 3s in most cases cd
I don't want to see the return of cave win
I want engie/mag and Bg cc to remain unique

I didnt vote because no "maybe" option but i can remember the outcry when all knockdowns (apart from bg) were changed to 3 secs, alot of ppl were not happy and as always happened on live any feedback or thoughts the playerbase had fell on deaf ears.
That being said i think it works at the moment but still could use some improvements, should an aoe kd be as long as a st kd ? i dont think so but that would also be a direct nerf to magus/engi kd's, should rkd's also have the same duration as melle kd's ? i dont think so unless rkd's had a requirement that made it more difficult to use.
One could also argue that CC should be(atleast hard CC like kd's) left to the tanks which would likely kill some classes like wh/we and make classes like bw/sw very difficult to play.
Overall i think CC durations could use some minor tweaking, im a strong believer that hard CC should be left to tanks which enforces co-ordination, better group play and means high burst classes cant guarantee a kill simply by KD-burst.

I would prefer going back and revert all "balance"-fixes and then make it right for the first time.
Dying is no option.

I still think that most CC in this game was over nerfed. Mainly stagger and roots, but also KD to some degree

I remember that well Morf, particularly how WHs and WE got a KD buff, I can post videos pre1.4.8 of WEs killing clothies from stealth before they got back up from the 2s KD (Shebali's videos come to mind) the 3 s KD was just a death sentence for most other classes at that point.
Considering the IBs KD is strictly on-demand I too wouldn't want to see a return of that 4s KD.

I just think 9s Stagger is important to fight zergs, as is most CC that breaks on damage. I am not saying 9s stagger is totally balanced by giving it to KotBS and Chosen, but at the same time 5s roots that everyone can easily break and 3s (LOL) stagger that you might as well break and not notice the difference kinda lowers the skillcapTenTonHammer wrote:
