I think my choices are down to:

DPS Zealot(haters gonna hate but I love that Tzeenthc's Cry sound/visual haha)
2H BO - undecided on Brawler or Boss now that 35 is in for Big Swingin'
2H Chosen
Magus - possibly Havoc, undecided.

Must..choose..one...
Mrskullhead - DPS Zealot
Axeocalypse - 2H BO
Stayawhile - Magus
Pleasehammer Donthurtem - 2H WP
Fathermcgruder Arsekicker - RP
Poundtown - 2H IB

DPS Zealots are hard to be effective at, and are really only taken for their aoe heal debuff potential. However they do look cool as ****!

2H BO is always a yes from me. Best 2h offensive tank. Huge crits. Lots of pressure/utility.
2H Chosen is unfortunately more of a crippling strike bot than anything. Damage is not that great, but its consistent. Looks awesome though.

Magus - JOIN US DISK SURFERS! Happy to give you tips/advice in game, should you choose the most masochistic option =P

Magus was my first character ever on Live. They were cool but I ultimately ended up kind of abandoning him sometime in the 30's because they were pretty awful at the start of the game(and somewhat still are).

WP was I think the only one I got to 40/40+ as a Wrath spec no less(much to my teammates chagrins I'm sure), I love their late armor sets. But I think I'll take a break from WP this time around and maybe just tinker with one now and then.

When in doubt, go with a gobbo!

However seeing none on your list, I'd say BO or a magus. I have tremendous respect for anyone who plays either of these two classes well.
Nalishar -- Sorceress
Niznar -- Shaman
Snagz -- Squig Herder
Xorjiela -- Zealot

...but seriously, just play all the classes that interest you. You have 20 character slots, and by the end of T1, you'll have a better idea which class(es) base mechanics and design you prefer. And you'll have plenty of alts if you get bored with the main(s), or nothing is happening in their tier.
Unless the class that interests you is a WH or WE, in which case you're screwed with the current meta and the way the class is melee with light armor.

After playing War now for about a month, with a terminal case of alt-itis, I've decided to play the Black Orc. Here's my assessment:
1. Range DPS.... boring backline pick offs, once in melee, basically dead man walking. Reliable upon groupmates to stay alive against decent teams, needs heals and guards.

2. Melee DPS.... Extremely fun with good groupmates, total mess in SC's while pugging. Get used to the gang bang while on the front lines unless you have a competent tank guarding.

3. Healer.... Whack a mole with squared tiles gets boring after a while and unless you have decent tanks throwing up guard when you get pressured, MDPS is going to :| you.

4. Tanks....They have access to the single most OP ability in the game....Guard. The benefit of playing a healer for a while is you get used to watching the square tiles. Now instead of healing you're guarding. Whether you're keeping one eye on the healer or running around /assist on the strongest Melee DPS with a guard up on him, you are the general on the battlefield. You can survive with three or four guys on you. Throw up a morale 2 perma block etc. You can spam snares, throw up Debuffs on focus targets or Debuff MDPS on your backline with challenge and knockbacks while simultaneously throwing up guard on their focus target. The bar to play a tank well is higher imo than the other classes because you're filling multiple roles of defender and attacker simultaneously. We all play this game for months/years on end, I'd rather play a class that has a high bar to be good, but once mastered excels over the others. That is the tank. BO was my choice because of the look, the AOE snare at high levels and the nice AOE stat steal along with AOE magic reduction DMG. He is the ultimate mass utility tank. 5 guys on your zealot? Throw up guard, AOE snare (at max level), AOE knockback, They keep coming? Throw up Morale 2 block. If their stupid they can beat on the zealot for the next 10 sec wasting their time.

A well played SnB tank shifts the balance of power immensly. I always laugh at the solo 2 hander tanks running around my backlines randomly harrassing my healers without even a melee DPS with them. I know their not guarding. If you are a tank and do not have guard up on someone all the time, you're an idiot. Frankly you should also be changing up that guard all the time with a second eye on the battlefield on whose about to get focused and the square bars on who is already taking incoming dmg.

After playing a tank and understanding the mechanics, I can't go back to MDPS, I feel neutered.
