Looks like he just found some Slayer gear that still has Hammerer appearances. Not an exploit or anything, but it'll get cleaned up.

TentonHammer Slayer should be repulsive. He is looking for Heroic Death not Heroic beauty Dwarven Lady XD

Don't worry, these appearances will be coming back some day. Maybe not for the Slayer (we'll see), but certainly as rewards for live events or purchasable for tokens.

Purely conjecture, but the biggest reason the Hammerer was replaced at the last minute with the Slayer was, AFAIK, because the Hammerer's appearance was too similar to the Ironbreaker. If that proves to be the case here, the Slayer might not be able to use Hammerer appearances when they return, but the Ironbreaker might.
