The am/sham thread about reducing the damage of the ability i said it was a little over the top and would welcome a nerf to prove it isnt the problem u make it out to be, why would i be hurt ?
Staying on topic then just for you...u list wp heals, snares working,charge working as things u see as easy fixes, wp heals sure that would help alot, prolly not easy but i would say relatively important however why would you not list RP aoe and IB aoe as an easy or more important fix ? you know this has a much bigger impact on things and would seem an easier or atleast the same struggle to fix but you chose to focus on things that would benefit you more. Like your rp/am group's or your rp/ib group's using bugged skills to mass aoe everything to death and you claim because i play shaman i want easymode, hypocrite much ?
You are the only person who comes to the forums and makes request on what u deem important or easy to fix but u come here with a bias mentality.
Yes devs want to fix skills and you are pointing out ones that are listed on the bugtracker and they are aware of.
Sure i am free to post my thoughts and suggestions, i just did...now if i was you and made threads about what should be easier or more important you should think about...
1-order being able to rez (dont play order idk if its fixed yet)
2- wp heals.
3-skills that dont do as they should for example skills that do aoe damage instead of single target or have no cooldown when they should.
4-Hots heal every 1 sec instead of every 2.
BUT i have no right to ask for any of this to be fixed because the devs do as they wish with there free/unpaid time.
Whats next for you to request fixing first ? i mean which class are u playing or plan to play next ?

no nerfs needed the mechanics just don't work once block parry dodge disrupt ect come in it will balance out alot of the damage.

If the devs here will have to create entire sections like tradeskills from scratch, can you make me a Death Knight just like from WoW? hahaha j/k
Actually, I suggest everyone just cool out and don't expect this to be your home for a while. Play a bit and then come back every once in a while to see what has been done. I'm thinking it will be quite some time before it is even close to being balanced or bug free. Heck, it wasn't even bug free before it was closed down! :O

Thought I would add to this instead of creating another thread....so
I'm curious. If Strength is working and Wounds are working...why aren't other stats as easy to implement?
These are all the stats that increase abilities while reducing others.
Strength: Increases melee ability damage, increases melee auto-attack damage and reduces chance that your melee attacks will be blocked or parried. Why isn't that simple for every other stat?
Ballistic: Increases ranged ability damage, increases ranged auto-attack damage and reduces chance that your ranged attacks will be blocked or evaded.
Intelligence: Increases magic damage and reduces chance that your magic attacks will be disrupted.
Initiative: Increases your chance to evade ranged attacks and reduces your chance of being critically hit.
Then there are the stats that only increase -
Wounds: Increases max hit points.
Willpower: Increases healing and increases the chance that you will disrupt a magic attack.
Weapon Skill: Increases your chance to parry attacks and increases armor penetration.
Block: Increases chance to block melee, ranged, and magical attacks (requires shield).
Parry: Increases chance to parry melee attacks.
Dodge: Increases chance to evade ranged attacks.
Disrupt: Increases chance to disrupt magical attacks.
While these only reduce
Armor: Reduces physical damage taken.

the strength stat damage modifier was more of a quick hack in
we got yesterday weapon damage + stat modifier to work with abilitys so now if you attack the damage is the one the ability says still need a lot of db work though but we are on it
