Dwarf mounts

Show me an entry from a 6th edition- 8th edition Dwarf Army book that allows any form of mount option (aside from those mentioned by Genisaurus) and I will drop my stance.

I'd love to see any Warhammer Dwarf Army book that allows any form of personal roflcopter mount.

If you want ponies, you can have ponies. Maybe, when we get around to it. But army books (only thing considered canon by GW) as far back as 4th edition don't have the Dwarfs riding anything but the Throne of Power, Anvil of Doom, palanquins, and Gyrocopters. The latter two aren't available in the game as mounts AFAIK.

You heard it here first, we're getting Throne of Power and Anvil of Doom mounts for dwarfs!

Hey mate you guys can go into battle on khorne juggernaut or skraven wheel mounts for all i care as long as the devs implement the giant 2 headed squig mounts for O&G

Bottom line and if you like it or not, in warhammer fluff dwarfs road more than just copters and bears. I'm not going to to argue with anyone about this. I know what i saw when i did my research and readings long ago. My last Name has been a part of warhammer for some time now. I made this topic to get the community's thoughts and idea's for possible ''future ideas'' (leaning more toward dwarfs lol) with in their ability. Will i stop playing war if they dont. No i will not stop playing. will I have mind racing hoo-loo hoops about it. no i will not. I'm very grateful of the the devs putting this game back to life and i will enjoy it no matter wut they say no to for future ideas. These are just ideas so don't get butt hurt about ppl voicing their thoughts for the future. Games are meant to change and i'm sure they will come up with something new just have to wait and see.

So would I, and if I was the creative designer for WAR, I would have Dwarfs march as their mount, with access to shield bearers for Iron Breakers, Anvil for Rune Priests, Gyrocoptor's (the real deal) for engies. Slayers don't get fancy mounts cause they are disgraced and aren't deserving of one, plus they are carried by your guild most of the time anyway.

You would have to earn your carrot.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned how loud these things, dwarf choppers, are. How you're supposed to gank when the damn sack of bolts announcements your arrival miles across, causing destros either to run away, or run to you from all corners of the map, for a fresh piece of dwarf meat.

Can we avoid using Ogre mounts for Dwarfs?

we have boars/pigs only orc ride tham, also i think elfs should use unicorns or winged horses( see tham in lot in elf area) not empire steeds.

While there are unicorns and pegasus, Unicorns only will let the purest of souls ride them, and thus only a few elves (notably wood elves) each generation can claim to ride the, High Elves consumed with their war, and their pride fall short when judged by these mythical creatures. Bretonnian ladies that are blessed by the Lady are able to ride these beautiful creatures.

Pegasus are ridden by heroes of both the Empire and Bretonnia. While Pegasus are naturally timid creatures, and would rather avoid conflict than engage, humans tend to have no qualms breaking a creature in order to serve it's purpose. High Elves are loath to do anything like that, leaving that form of cruelty to their vicious cousins (the dark elves), instead will only ride a creature to battle that wishes to be ridden.

High Elves do however ride Dragons, Eagles, Griffons, ELVISH Steeds, and Phoenixes.

Dark Elves do indeed ride Dark Steeds and I have made my own suggestion for cosmetic mounts here:

I will be adding a couple of things to the list (Eagles, and Dwarf Marching) in light of this conversation.

DE horses please, the cold one style and animation in this game is horrible.

Not to mention they are huge and attract attention from miles away. It's like a friking jiggling Carnosaur.
