login error

hello

i have followed all the steps for the installation and looked through the help forum posts.

But im still getting this error.

Does anyone have a suggestion to help me login?

thanks for any helpful answers.

System.Exception: You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.WriteFileToArchive(FileInArchive archFile, MemoryStream MS)

hey

thanks for the link. ill go through it now... to add some more info:

i think im experiencing some issue with the "read only" setting.

i manually set the .exe's to not read only, theyre ok.... and have changed the main folder to not "read only" but after i have clicked apply and ok. close. and then re-open the main folder, it still has "read only" checked.

i saw on another post "elven" or something like that linked to a windows post about a cmd line u can use to change the attribute.

i used that cmd but still get the activation error

cmd used:

attrib -r -s "C:\Users\Liam\Desktop\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning"

ok nevermind... dont worry about it.

ive ran the take ownership of windows and program files and user files. ran the cmd attribution in admin and it just wont work. theres some bug somewhere stopping this from running.

was worth checking out. have fun.

I'm sorry you are having trouble. I don't know the answer to your question but hopefully someone can respond with some answers.
