eye shot is a pretty powerful ability.
it is very strong and usefull in a lot of situations.
-But OP? Not at all. In this forum there is a post to every single strong ability in the game where someone tries complain about how unfair it is under this or that circumstance and how you cant 1 v 1 this specific class with that specific build and so on.....
guys there are a lot of good and very strong abilities... need they all to be nerfed now?
the ranged disarm of the squig is extremely strong, too especially against SW.
-is it broken? I dont think so. its just a strong ability wich makes the class what it is.

This type of thinking is just completely counter productive. You cant just shrug off any kind of balance issues just because there are other abilities in the game that people have complained about in the past. If that made sense nothing would ever have been rebalanced and we'd still be playing with bws killing warbands with RoF like in the first few months of the game.

Anyway, not that it matters, but ranged knockdowns should not be a thing. They just shouldnt. Its not about a good ability on sw/bw compared to other good abilities on destro classes. It would still be the same argument if sorc/sh had it (and really give it to them for a week and see how many people start to agree). Its about an absolutely game changing ability on a rdps that shouldnt exist. Give sws anything else in place, make it a ranged disarm that steals ap and debuffs toughness and is an outgoing heal debuff all at the same time. Fine. Just dont make it a knockdown. Hard CC should be on tanks and melee. Not ranged.

I always wondered, why mythics removed the knockdown effect from "takedown" when vengeance of nagarythe is active, and instead gave it to eye shot?

Becous SW was weakly. And now he is weakly. No one want WB with SW. Some time SW can be in party for SC.

Why not? The heal debuff is really nice.
Only for single target. WB vs WB need big AOE like slayer or BW, some time ENG for magnet.

If Dev can do aoe heal debuff for SW it will be nice for WB :lol:

The number of people commenting on Eye shot who have obviously never played the class long enough to even get eye shot is staggering.

If I switch from assault to skirmish "for 1 s"(Which is a minimum of 5) just for a ranged knockdown (2 seconds, single target) I lose half my armor and all the strength/weaponskill bonuses of assault stance, not to mention I lose access to useful abilities no matter which stance I switch from (Melee disarm, melee KD on Assault spec, flame arrow, FA etc for 5 seconds)
That's 5 seconds of taking an additional 25-30% physical damage to knockdown one target for two seconds.

And no one says a word about it!

If you think a 2 second KD is stronger than a 6 second stagger you've got no idea what's going on.

But you don't see order complaining about OP zealots having a 100ft "WINBUTTON"


Stop complaining about SW they're by far the most fragile class to balance and all the negative changes have made it an incredibly unattractive class to play. There's still only one really viable mastery tree and only one reason to take one in a party over an engineer (Shadow Sting) and that's 10 points deep in skirmish.

what if i tell you that SW has probably the best physical aoe dmg ingame and that this is just another l2p issue? :/
