I don't have a right to talk since is play blackguard as 2h only but the surviveability from flawless armor, oppression and mixed defenses+supression in my book far out weigh the benifits you might with rending blade and crippling strikes

All that does is makes you harder to kill...and is also great for PvE. If you are turtle-spec, you will be increadibly survivable, you make a great guard bot, and perfect for floating guard as a solo tank, but your damage game will be weak. Even if you pumped everything into Strength, you still need to crit consistently to be a threat. Also saying you are freenown depends on a bunch of other factors i.e: are we doing SC? keep defense? Roaming.

For SCs: the only tactic that makes the decision between SnB and 2h difficult is Destined for Victory, luckily the choice is already made for us....for now.
