I think that 5% on EA and DT is justified because the KotBS can get the benefits being pretty much AFK. However i would remove the block requirement on DT and change it to Parry, so it can be used both in SnB and 2H.
As for LS... if you reduce the value from 15 to 10, i would change it so it also affects the SW (currently it only affects his groupmates).
So a group consisting of SW+KotBS+IB would be able to effectively buff crit chance by 20% (30% for the IB's Oathfriend) instead of the current 35-45%.

Agree to both those suggestions except let's make it 10 for group 5 for sw itself. They seriously were broken at end game.Penril wrote:I think that 5% on EA and DT is justified because the KotBS can get the benefits being pretty much AFK. Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
What if EA just made it so that every one was 10% less likely to defend attacks insted of 10% crit chance

Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
That's stronger IMO. It's one thing to be not get crit its another to avoid attacks all together.TenTonHammer wrote:What if EA just made it so that every one was 10% less likely to defend attacks insted of 10% crit chance

What? Making you bypass disrupt/dodge/block/parry 10% of the time is now better than 10% crit?Tklees wrote:That's stronger IMO. It's not 10% of the time. It's an additional 10% on top of whatever you had.
So a tank with 40% block would now have 30%. He would be crit less often, but receive more sustained damage overall (dat guard damage, for example).
Then again it also depends on your attacker's mechanic, +% crit damage tactics, etc. There is obviously a sweet spot for this. Too lazy atm to calculate it.

Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
I would prefer that EA had 2h requirement then lowering both ea and dt to 5%, so u basically have the choice of 10% for snb or 10% for 2h not both, if u change both to 5% its pushing you even more towards playing snb to have both. reducing LS from 15% to 10% would seem fair.

The sweet spot is the spot where you negate all those things entirely, this is the same sweet spot Wow used to aim for, the 8% hit cap.
If there is no definite soft cap to aim to, its worthless, the point of such things is negating the chance of having a key cc or ability wasted on a parry/dodge/block/disrupt if all it does is make it less likely, it does nothing.
Its specially a waste in WAR where most the most likely targets are often the ones who have no ability to do so whatsoever.
10% crit is miles ahead of 10% less likely to be defended, if what you suggested was making your whole group attacks undefendable for a duration, now we are talking about something better than 10% crit, if its just 10% less chance to get defended, its basically nerfing it into oblivion and making it worthless.

Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
i truthfully think it isnt as far apart as you are making it sound. I may be wrong in that it is better to have 10% chance reduced defenses that to have a player have 10% more chance to crit you but when you think of avoidance its a pretty big deal in WAR versus wow where if your hit is 7.6 you are never blocked unless some ability is used to do so.bloodi wrote:The sweet spot is the spot where you negate all those things entirely, this is the same sweet spot Wow used to aim for, the 8% hit cap.
