Mod profiles and general mod things.

Is there a list somewhere of all the mods that work with the game currently and what they do? Something akin to .. http://www.curse.com/addon-packs/war

I see people using a ton of mods that I think would be super useful, but I don't know where to begin looking. I looked in the mod section and only found maybe 1-2 useful mods, but there was still a few things misssing that I couldn't find. That and I didn't want to sift through a 200 mod pack when I probably wouldn't even use 90% of them.
