Guard is ALWAYS a melee attack from within your frontal cone, regardless of the source of the damage that triggered it.

You will have to test which skill/dot (?) counts towards challenge.

em assumption on what? guard does not remove challenge stack :/
which is why it's irrelevant in either way about which realm can make their "challenge" last longer.

He means it needs to be tested if challenge is removed by dot ticks or only direct damage/autoattacks.
Iirc it should only work on direct damage/AA.

Edit: according to aza, it is removed on dot ticks too atm. Maybe someone has a video available to show how it was working correctly.

I even recall having removed 3 stacks of challenge in 1 gcd somehow
