We have good discussion about adding a snare for a WE. It's a good idea because WE need snare who actually works. But it won't solve a main problem of WE - no group synergy. Except very good heal debuff WE don't bring anything unique to the group.
Proposition:
Add corporeal resist debuff to envenomed blade. It should be strongest corporeal (and ST) resist debuff in the game (after tunning down Chosen). For now it should by equally strong to Chosen aura. Full potential of debuff after first applying this dot.
This will make useless ability worth something. And help a sorc with dmg (group utility).

A little less extreme proposition:
As above but Envenomed Blade need a tactic to have corporeal debuff. For example reworked Enveloping shadow.

Whole proposal doesnt properly follow the Rules as you also pick some random element and slap a random "buff" on it. Also you take EB as your skill example, while this is already under discussion of being changed to a slow in the first place and therefore also increasing the utility of the class.

Telling that the WE "lacks utility" and showing us a useless skill is not properly identifying the issue as the rules demand you to.
Also you did not provide any evidence why exactly it is a problem, and neither did you tell us any proper solutions to be discussed. Giving WE a corp debuff will just be a buff to her Solo gameplay as it will add damage to Witchbrew. On the other hand in a proper Group setup your Chosen will provide said debuff anyway, rendering your extra "proposed utility" completely useless again.
