So I was in an sc, the 12-21 bracket and a lvl 17 dps sham crit my 21 IB with 300 toughness for roughly 1500+ damage on a single skill, 954 with 630 or so mitigated on a brain bursta. Hax or possible?

Did you actually receive the damage, or just read that later on in the log? Sadly the log sometimes lies to us. If not: definitely not as intended.

I didn't see it happen but I was shot down in a blink of an eye so it seemed(was being swarmed also). When I confronted him/her about it seemed like he was well aware that it happened.

Your resist were likely lower to begin with + chosen debuff + toughness debuff likely lost your bolster to the bolster bug

As Landaren said - I believe it was bug where bolster dissapeared from your toon so u were lvl 21 being hit by lvl 26 shamy. no idea how dmg calculations are made but before 26 bolster I have received tons of more dmg from 26 players than 21 players.

also if u had no resist buff and had your ele resist debuffed + various toughness debuff while shamy had softcapped intelligence thanks to bolster it might result in these numbers I believe.

300 toughness is pretty low ammount especially with around 60 or so debuff bringing you to 240. it doesnt lower dmg received by much

I believe I have seen bolster to rank 26 in 12-21 scs. atleast on my lowbie zealot (lvl 14) I was bolstered in sc to lvl 26

Never seen it on my own but this would definitely be a bug. The correct before bolster rank is 21 and like I said, I have never seen 26 in sc in this bracket. All I have seen was no bolster at all.
