I have several characters lvl 85+ but still did not understand what kind of reward is given for the siege of the capital and LotD:
- why there r no any set/items just for such Endgame activities? for example: Warlord set or One of Sovereign.

I’m laughing because you’ve reached the logical conclusion of any game: endgame gear is obtained through endgame content.
You used to be able to get Sov gear only in the city, but the devs thought a unique-currency system was better and made it obtainable via oRVR.
That’s why people don’t do endgame content anymore.

Re: Endgame rewards
Congratulations obtaining renown rank 80 and full sovereign you have complete the Warhammer tutorial now the real fun begins.
Re: Endgame rewards
A lot of the endgame rewards are tied to pve imo:
-Bloodlord weapon
-BS Ring
-LV Ring
-LV Weapons
-BS and LV secret rings
Heck if LOTD dungeon comes out with gear you may not even need to PVP at all, just PVE straight to almost BIS gear.
The SC weapons were a nice addition, some of them are cool but why is there no LV/Annul ring that you can get through pvp? Why is 5% damage on a weapon tied behind pve? Why not have avenues to get better items via pvp? Why not have pvp options that are not tied to just crests?
Example: take x amount of forts + crests to get an item. Tank item, deflect so much oil, do so much damage with ram, and protection to get title + crests for an item, etc.

That's true, but I think they are referring to items that are available year round.Rydiak wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 8:37 pmAnnulus mats are most efficiently farmed via PvP drops.Anderlin wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 7:42 pm A lot of the endgame rewards are tied to pve imo:

I am amused at how people flip out over 1% crit though.

If a certain type of PvP content requires a gear reward to make it worth doing, it's bad content. All it does is force players to do the bad content. City sucks and has always sucked. People don't do city because it sucks.

Re: Endgame rewards
City sieges were the pinnacle of the game. The best and epic fights I’ve ever had (and the worst) took place there.
Never—nowhere else, not once in six years of playing—have I experienced that feeling with any other content: not in RvR, Scenarios, or Ranked play, and certainly not in PvE.
And it wasn't just the city itself; it was the whole experience leading up to it.
And yes, the cities suck now—precisely because people have no motivation to do anything other than camp Warcamps.

Re: Endgame rewards
Spasibo for answer but it seems that Sieges r the only content I dont wanna play in such way: it is not really interesting without rewards. As for LotD it is very interesting part of the game like a weekly general battle but without rewards we have to wait for access for dungeon for winning side and possibility for invasion for loosing side as it was on official server.kpihuss wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 3:32 pm

I respect your opinion, but I ask myself if we played the same game?
You are right, probably everything is better than the current blobb system, but the old RvR system, pre unified currency, was horrible too. I don't see the heroism in throwing forts, dodging premates in city queues and faction stacking. Maybe you played during NA times, but for every European it was even worse. If you didn't wake up at 3 AM to drag yourself to the city, you had no chance for endgame gear. You could play all day long but did get nothing because there were often no cities in EU times.
For me personally, the best time was shortly after the unified currency with the introduction of duo-discordant skirmish. People didn't yet blobbed and played almost every content of the game. Or maybe I wear rose tinted glasses too, and it wasn't actually as nice as I remember.
