Once combat is initiated by the player, the enemy will move normally. And I believe some will attack when you are close enough. But I am really hoping that one day they will walk along their regular paths and not just sit still like a living pinata.
Don't get me wrong, I know it's not the most pressing issue. Would be great to have this.
Does anyone know which zones/dungeons/raids DO have mobs that move before engaged in combat? I'd like to experience that again, even if only in certain areas.
RoR is amazing and I'm so glad to be playing. It was always one of my favs. WoW, WAR, and AoC - those are my babies. And RoR is giving me soooo much fun I can't wait to see what this amazing team does next!
Is there a plan to have enemy mobs move?

A lot of creatures in the world do roam around. Some npcs do wonder along paths etc.
If there are any particular ones that you feel should be roaming or pathing. If you let as know someone can have a look at it.

I think he meant like in wow, where some mobs have little routines so the world seems more alive. These little routines + critters help a lot, but I don't think WAR ever had that.MaxHayman wrote: Thu Dec 25, 2025 10:10 am A lot of creatures in the world do roam around. SW:TOR for instance lacked critters at release when I played it.
