Appeal for banned people.

I don't post on, or visit this forum. Generally its just bad vibes but i want to throw in my 2 cents at this subject. Like the survey you did a little while ago said i think its time to let banned people at least get a chance to appeal to get back in. I'm not saying let everyone back. I'm saying let them at least get the chance. GMs decide yes or no if they deserve a 2nd chance.

Yamcha was rather helpful in getting the mute function working properly. Alas, he refused to abide by any rules for any length of time. There are opportunities in the near future for players who have found, and can demonstrate, some level of reform. However, the rules will still need to be followed, no blank checks and trust me bro here.

The survey was indeed a primer for the community to see if future policies would align with player expectations.

I'm not going to speak for individual chases but I think there is a lot of people who deserves a 2nd chance and its up to you if they deserve it or not. I have people i would like to see back i admit. And some I don't. But its not my decision but i do believe the game would benefit from it if some could get a 2nd chance. Just the talk of it would bring more people back.

Cheating
There is no reason to give any player who cheats in ROR or any game a 2nd chance, I have detected an awful lot of players over my 15 plus years working in the field of Anti-Cheat in AAA games. I have yet to hear of any good reason to unban any player.

The only time a player should have a ban removed is if the detection was a false positive.

Exploiting
Lately in ROR I have seen some top guilds, on both Order and Desto, exploiting guild banners in Forts. I'm not going into what has been going on, but players who have been doing this should get banned for a week.

When I reported to a GM what was going on, he did remove the banner. I hope the GM had words with that player who did it.

A player who keeps exploiting should always get a permanent ban

Anti social behaviour
Right now in RoR there are a few guilds, but mainly an Order Guild, who think it is okay to flame, attack and have gone out of their way to bully players. This is something which needs to be dealt with. Unfortunately most of the flaming and attacking which is going on is in discord channels which the ROR team have nothing to do with.

However, if you are a player who is being targeted in game, then take screenshots, and report what is going on. Don't talk back to them, just report it and let the GM's deal with it.

Players who keep behaving in an antisocial manner, should also get a permanent ban.
