Generally okay event. The mount could use a saddle.. I disliked the cape design, it is quite bland. The worst part has been the transporting relic task. At best it's a zerg magnet and is impossible to do when the zone is open. Which means you have to get a group and run it for several minutes on foot until you reach the objective.. And you also have to sit around and wait for 1k skulls. No tracker of anything to let ppl know when it's about to spawn..

Edit- Almost forgot the mount quest. It's just uninspired. And busy work having to go to the target area, back to altdorf, back to the target area, back to altdorf. Makes it unnecessarily long. Just have the quest chain from one location to the next.. If it's going to be an uninspired quest you might as well make it as painless as possible to do.

The 100 beastmen kill is a bit random. I would have though you might tie it in a bit more to the theme of the mount quest or something but w/e.

Okay soo here is my feedback:

1. Relic run - Annoying 24 mins and 55s walk or if you have stag mount only 12 mins and 30s long walk. Impossible to do without atleast 2 wbs when running it in peak times when zone is open and it kinda destroys the fun of it, like i want to defend but be able to have people both defend and attack not solo run it in peak times and get scolded in chat for giving order +25% rr buff. Another pain is the fact that its another blob promoting thing and we already have people pushing the "its prime time we have to blob" ideology. People also got bored of it really quick.

2. Scenarios choice - Nice scenarios fun to play but one issue, this event just really showed how big issue is premades farming pugs in the event scenario. It got brutal to the point where destro just flat out decided not to join, funny thing is that some order people still could get their free war crests/rr (small amounts but still) for waiting till the scenario ended(capture points extra crests and healing/protection when some bw/sorc spams his skill to get backlash. It will net you like 1-2 crest per category and 400rr making it barely worth for them to still queue it (got 10 of them in a row before i decided to stop)). There has to be implemented some sort of a minimum check before starting scenario like each party has atleast 1 healer because it is becomes bigger and bigger pain, premades will farm the event item that others will not get due to hard steamroll stomp and they will have 5% more incoming heal that is a small gap but one gap to another and your chances to have a fair fight are nonexistent. (and where are xrealmers when there is a weaker side? nowhere)
Image
(screenshot is one of the many and it was taken before every order player connected but when it fully loaded it was just me and emotional shammy that got connected mid way thru)

3. Flamespeaker Gaze - Look above, otherwise nice dye farm and i like. Fashionhammer is endgame after all even if the dyes are mediocre.

4. Hammerstone's legacy - Funny nice quest, meh looking cape, griffon could use a saddle, female dark elfs could have this nice witch elf sitting animation (where the legs are on one side)

5. secret quests - Nice, person thinking about the stein quest was insane but it is what it is, sasuage on a fork is hilarious and dagger is nice. Sacellum victim head in my opinion meh but i guess some borc/chosen maybe zealot player would like to have half chopped head.

6. festival food - funny idea, funny to use, stuff like this is nice even tho i would push the argument that buffs you get were outweighted by debuffs. (But thats my opinion, maybe if you get fatter from that sausage you should get like 5/10 wounds :) )

7. Kill undead - I love this random PVE addition makes reading the chat funnier as all people wonder where you can kill 100 undeads in most optimal way and their reactions when the answer is chaos t1 starting area thornshaft crypt (due to them being oneshottable)

I like the general structure of the Event - not too much PvE neccessary :)
the relic run is pretty much a bow to DAoC and therefore sparked a little bit of nostalgia - no issues with that !

+ inc Heal as a bonus stat is not my favourite, heal is pretty strong anyway in this game.

Too tied to scenarios with a broken queue system 20 scenarios in off peak hours can be tough and time consuming. The dwarven stein quest is crazy hard (kill 200 dwarves) Everything else is pretty cool. Created some lag in the city :)

Skull counter would be a nice addition to the relic run. Maybe look at giving a relic buff or zealot style skillbar to speed boost. Also make there be a percentage chance to drop the relic. Auto drop with a 5 count is abuseable. I saw people suiciding to hit the carrier to drop the relic. Possibly make the buff icons for the renown buffs something different or an announcement when entering RvR that one is in effect.

welp this is why you have two choices, one kill 200 dwarfs if you are the big boi playing in big hours and wanting to do it while blob fighting, and the off peak i prefer smaller scale win 15 black fire basin scenarios (assuming you found this quest at the time of writing this post you have to win 3 scenarios per day its not much). Both give you the same mug, tbh i got kinda suprised thinking that it might be longer quest chain and that 15 scenarios is a version for people who want to bail out.

Which leaves out those that are fighting ORvR in non peak hours. Just saying I feel 200 dwarf kills is a bit much, but hey it is what it is.

The Renown Boost lasts for 8 hours, and by working together as a realm, you can increase the boost even higher. The boosts, and the skills required, are:

Not true... the boost sometimes disappeared after 10-30 minutes. It's better to give a buff that works 24/7 during the event, rather than something that is bugged and not working at all.
Could be good time to lvl up alts...but nah:P

Rest is ok.

Overall its been a fun event. Run the relic is a fun time. Both times I ran it there was no opposition, but we had more than a few denied runs. Collecting skulls is great extra icing on the pvp exprience.

The event quest chain for mount/cape was okay. Gryphon is huge which I feel is more in prestige mount area than event mount territory.

HIdden quest to murder 200 stunties? Love it!

Other trophies were nice.

Scenarios I liked that the weekly matched the event one. The repeatable scenario quest as it relates to event completion is where, as a scenario solo, I have the biggest complaint. The college scenario is one of those where once a side loses you might not see 30 kills. So you have to go in again to get the rest. Problem is that if you need 8 more kills even if you get more than that you have to start a new scenario once you've accepted the new quest. The result is having to win like 8+ college scenario wins to complete the objective. As a solo for them, its rough.

I was still getting my bearings when last event was live so I didn't really particpate. This is really my first event, and I'm enjoying it.

I really enjoyed escorting the relic, and I would suggest keeping it as an alternative pvp event/objective, with some reworks.
Maybe it spawns on a timer, maybe you still have to sacrifice skulls, dunno, but I did enjoy it as it gives a fresh of hour in strategizing the lakes, there are natural and created chokepoints due to keeps, tldr, it's an interesting new thing and the 50% renown is just the right reward, not too powerful that people feel like they always have to do it, powerful enough an incentive to have the realm rally around to do it, maybe add a trophy bag drop or something as added incentive or some crests.
The event scenarios? Something MUST be done about them. Either have them be like discordant scenarios or put parties of more than 2 people in a seperate queue.
It simply cannot be overstated the frustration of running against full premade groups vs being a pug. I understand how pairing it down between premades might make scenario queues longer but I can guarrantee that most players would gladly prefer waiting a couple minutes more to get a fair match vs going solo.
As it is, you either have to make a scenario group or you most likely will abstain from queueing altogether unless it's an event scenario, where people will just roll the dice.
The state of scenarios is perilous right now, as most people will simply have no chance of fighting against a premade and won't even try, because frankly, it is a waste of time at that point.
The pve quests were fun but, can we please have stats illustrated on the mounts we earn?
Speed/dismount % would be greatly appreciated, as at this point, mounts seem to be in the same rotation as event accessories, meaning we get some of them on a rotation before the previous item has decayed and some of us want to compare them against each other, but saly with no stats available it's a bit of a guessing game.
